Freedom to Create: Music and Movement

  • First Floor Space 1046/1048 Whitgift Centre Croydon, CR0 IUQ UK (map)

This second workshop in the series will help participants understand how sound and music connect with movement to create visual responses. We will do this by breaking down the visual language of music, turning responses into rhythms and patterns and translating that into marks.

At the end of the workshop you will leave with a series of drawings that you have created using our repertoire of techniques. These fundamentals will enable you to confidently continue to make exciting and full bodied work within your practice.

These workshops are accessible to all, regardless of your artistic ability. They will help artists who are feeling stuck in their practice and for those who have never made art before.

Teas and coffees will be available, but please feel free to bring snacks.

Tickets cost £10

There are 15 places available so book early to avoid disappointment!
